PGA Tour Level Assessments and Performance Programmingfor CCGA Athletes
Your swing gets coached at CCGA. Your body gets measured, trained, and re-measured by Dr. Eli Rogers and The Strength Caddie team. Two programs working toward the same results.
Measure. Train. Re-measure.
Every athlete starts with a baseline, trains against it, and retests so the change shows up in numbers.
Assessment
Baseline report and targets
Reassessment
Retest against the baseline
Each reassessment becomes the new baseline. The cycle runs again every 12 weeks, so progress keeps building through the year.
Assessment
Dr. Rogers measures how the athlete moves, produces force, and swings. The result is a written report with prioritized findings, targets, and a plan direction.
Monthly programming
A personalized strength program in the app, plus one in-person session each month with a Strength Caddie strength coach.
Reassessment
After every 12-week program, the athlete is reassessed against the baseline so progress is measured, shared with Clint, and used to set the next program.
More than a TPI screen
A screen tells you what failed. These assessments are run by a doctor of physical therapy and tell you why, what it is costing the swing, and what to train first.
- Movement screen and clinical findings from a doctor of physical therapy
- Swing video and visual analysis tied to the physical findings
- Force plate ground reaction force data (Full and Premium)
- GEARS 3D motion capture (Premium)
- Written report with prioritized findings, targets, and plan direction
Assessment
---
Body & Swing Analysis90 minutes. Movement screen, swing video and visual analysis, clinical findings, initial plan direction. No force plate data.
Full AssessmentEverything in Body & Swing, plus force plate ground reaction force data.
Premium AssessmentEverything in the Full Assessment, plus GEARS 3D motion capture.
ReassessmentRetest against the baseline to measure what changed and set the next targets.
Clint chooses the assessment level for each athlete based on the athlete's goals and what he wants to see measured.
What we measure, and what it tells us
Full and Premium assessments add measurement a screen and a video cannot give. Here is what each tool is and what comes out of it.
Smart2Move Force Plates
Two plates under the feet measure how much force an athlete pushes into the ground and when, through every phase of the swing. Included in Full and Premium assessments.
- Where pressure is at each moment of the swing
- Peak vertical, lateral, and rotational force against tour benchmarks
- Timing: when force arrives relative to the downswing
- How much of the athlete's speed comes from the ground versus the arms
- Weight split between the lead and trail foot at every swing position
GEARS 3D Motion Capture
Cameras track the body and club in three dimensions, so we can see how the swing actually moves instead of how it looks on video. Included in Premium assessments.
- Pelvis, torso, arm, and club speed and the order they fire in
- Sway, slide, and posture changes through the swing
- Positions at address and the top of the backswing, in degrees
- Iron and driver compared against tour benchmarks
See what an assessment delivers
This is the written report an athlete receives: measured findings, where each part of the game stands, what the swing is doing and why, and the plan. It is a sample client at the Premium level (GEARS 3D and force plates). Body & Swing and Full reports include the sections that match what is measured at that level.
Start with a baseline
Choose the assessment level for the athlete, and we will schedule the baseline and set up programming.
